Limestone Coast Pantry is a restaurant/cafe/larder/pantry of all things delicious. It was established in 2016 by Lyn McLachlan and is a family owned and operated business situated in the heart of the Limestone Coast in Mount Gambier.
Our resource rich area of country South Australia is home to the famous Blue Lake and where the growing of fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and dairy produce is still clean and pure. We are so lucky to call this place home and to have all of this amazing produce at our fingertips!
Lyn McLachlan, the brains and passion behind Limestone Coast Pantry, was often heard saying to family and friends “I just want to make jam” and with the encouragement and support of friends, she embarked on a journey of food production, to combine her passion for cooking genuine food, and sharing it with others. Lyn believes that globally, consumers are more interested in the traceability of their food, like no other time in history, and recognise the Limestone Coast region as a rich, clean growing food bowl.
Limestone Coast Pantry believe in using local and Australian produce (with the exception of some imported spices) and, where possible they access regional produce, using little or no preservatives and make food, just like our mothers and grandmothers made, maintaining the integrity of the product.
Limestone Coast Pantry boasts a combination of fresh coffee (which I, as a self-proclaimed coffee snob will say was super delicious!!), healthy hand made meals, snacks and products or components ready to eat, cook at home or fill your freezer using seasonal local produce and ingredients.
The Pantry has gorgeous hampers of local produce and is a must visit for those who are visiting our region and wish to take delicious things back home.
